The treasure of the village of Borovo, Ruse Province, was found in 1974. It consists of five vessels made of solid silver: a small jug in a form of rhyton, three rhytons and a bowl. The vessels are Greek masters' make, except the bowl made by local craftsmen. The inscriptions on both rhytons and the jug translated as "To Cotys from Beos" suggest that these are royal gifts to the local Getae's ruler - Cotys, or to the local sanctuary dated from 4th century BC.
