Numerous golden and silver adornments and utensils were found in 2005 in a mound near the villages of Zlatinitsa and Malomirovo, Yambol District. According to the archeologists, this is a burial of a Thracian ruler lived in the middle of the 4th century BC and died at the age of 18-20. His full accoutrements lay in the grave, such as: the iron Makhaira sword, 200 bronze arrows, 7 lances, a chain-mail, a bronze Chalcidian helmet.
One of the most valuable finds is a gold-plated silver greave with decorations featuring the deified late Thracian ruler and scenes from the Thracian mythology. He has been an extraordinary warrior for many times making war on Philip II.
He has been an honorary citizen of Athens having the right to participate in Olympic Games. The golden diadem, found during the excavations, has been a prize to the ruler for his win in such Games. A lamella on the diadem features Goddess Nike.
The Goddess offering a diadem is engraved on the ruler's ring. A ceremonial greave was found in the grave, as well as appliqués, rhytons and ritually broken utensils.
