Bulgarian Institute of Culture- Hamburg is state cultural institution that is financially supported and methodically guided by the Ministry of Culture. The institute is created and operate in accordance with bilateral intergovernmental agreements.
The main objectives of the Bulgarian Institutes of Culture- Hamburg is: expanding the presence and influence of Bulgarian culture in the host country; promoting a positive image of the Republic of Bulgaria through popularizing the achievements of Bulgarian culture; winning recognition for the place of Bulgarian culture in the global cultural processes; creating a positive environment in order to build lasting ties and friendly relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and Germany in the cultural sphere; providing active support for the development of creative industries and for improving the competitiveness of Bulgarian art; creating media and information environment in the host country to ensure proper presentation of Bulgarian culture in all its aspects.Bulgarian Institute of Culture
